The outside of the fifth-floor window.

You know it is dirty. You know you are not going to clean it. The only way is to sit on the ledge — and that is the most dangerous thing anyone does in their own home.

This robot sticks to the glass and cleans on its own while you stay inside and get on with your day.

What it does

  • Holds onto the glass by itself – it works on vertical and sloped surfaces alike.
  • Cleans automatically – it covers the whole pane; you do not guide it.
  • With suction – it collects the dirt instead of pushing it into the corners.
  • Reaches everywhere – high windows, the outside face, the balcony door, roof windows.
  • Gives you the time back – you set it going and return to what you were doing.

What you lose by not having one

  • You climb onto the ledge. Or onto a chair in front of an open window. Every year that ends badly for someone.
  • You pay a company. Two or three times a year for a flat — a sum that over a few years exceeds the price of the robot.
  • The room stays darker. Dirty glass cuts noticeably more light than people expect, especially in winter.
  • It gets put off for a whole season. Cleaning windows is half a day's work, so it happens twice a year instead of when it should.
  • Your back and arms pay the bill. Stretching, twisting and standing on tiptoe for half an hour per window.

Where it works

Windows on high floors, the outside face of the glass, balcony and terrace doors, glass balustrades, shop fronts, roof and loft windows, large mirrors, glass tables.

Good to know

  • It runs on mains power — if the power cuts out, the hold depends on the safety line.
  • Before working at height, make sure the safety line is attached as the manual describes.
  • Do not use on cracked glass or windows with a loose frame.
  • Very small or heavily divided panes are not suitable — the robot needs an uninterrupted surface.

Some household jobs are simply not worth the risk. This is one of them.
